The First Holy Communion Program follows the guidelines of the Diocese of Orange. It is a two-year preparation program.

First Holy Communion - Year 1: 

To study about the basic catechesis of the Christian life. 

First Holy Communion - Year 2: 

To deepen the understanding of the two Sacraments of Initiation (Reconciliation and Eucharist).

After two years, children will solemnly celebrate the reception of these two Sacraments. Vital moments within their preparation include: their First Confession, our "God is Love" One-Day Retreat at the parish, and other calendar events to provide a special time for prayer and direct preparation for your family and child. Specific schedules and details are provided during Parent Meetings.
